FirstClass enables you and everyone at AIC to effectively communicate, collaborate, manage information and share knowledge.  Please make your selection below. If you have trouble, please email firstclass@aic.edu for help. ACTIVATE YOUR NEW ACCOUNT VIA THE WEB   Click here to Activate your AIC FirstClass account for the very first time. LOGIN TO YOUR NEW ACCOUNT VIA THE WEB (MEANING NO SOFTWARE DOWNLOAD IS REQUIRED) FirstClass web interface users click here to login to your FirstClass account.  Your account must be activated first!  [And if you are logging in, remember that your password is one that you chose for yourself when you activated. It is no longer your last name. That was only temporary]. DOWNLOADING THE LOGIN SOFTWARE TO YOUR PRIMARY COMPUTER OR COMPUTERS PLEASE NOTE!! ---- YOU MUST FOLLOW A CRITICAL FINAL STEP THAT IS EXPLAINED IN PICTURES BELOW.  THE SOFTWARE WILL NOT WORK WITHOUT FOLLOWING THIS CRITICAL STEP.  WE ARE ALL HUMAN, BUT PLEASE REMEMBER TO COME BACK HERE AFTER INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE ON YOUR COMPUTER TO FOLLOW THIS CRITICAL FINAL STEP LAID OUT IN PICTURES BELOW. THANKS. If you have already activated your account, you may download the Windows desktop software to run FirstClass from there. Please remember! Please remember! You MUST enter the Server Address of "fc.aic.edu" when logging in for the first time See Pictures Below. After you install the software, please open the login window and click on that little triangle next to the word "Advanced" (The Mac software looks a little different, but the steps are the same.) Now click on "Setup" In the "Sever" field enter "fc.aic.edu" and then click on "Save" at the bottom right of that window. Now enter your user ID and the password you chose for yourself and hit "Enter" (or click on the silly green arrow) If you still have trouble, please do one of the following: 1. Email firstclass@aic.edu and explain in detail what issue you are having. You really need to include the precise error message you are given. Honestly, it will help us solve your problem. 2. As a last resort, call 205-3402 for help. Please spell out your name and spell out your email super clearly if you get voicemail for quicker help. As examples you could use: 'H' as in 'Help', 'P' as in 'Prevent', 'M' as in 'Misunderstandings'. Thank you very much!
